ταξιδεύουν τα ελληνικά αγροτικά προϊόντα και τρόφιμα, καθιστώντας την Ελλάδα
έναν από τους κυριότερους προμηθευτές στον κόσμο στην κατηγορία αυτή.
Σύμφωνα
με έρευνα που πραγματοποίησε ο καθηγητής του Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών
Ιωάννης Χαλικιάς για λογαριασμό του Πανελληνίου Συνδέσμου Εξαγωγέων (ΠΣΕ) η
Ελλάδα περιλαμβάνεται στους πέντε πρώτους προμηθευτές αγροτικών προϊόντων σε 26
χώρες, με τα ποσοστά συμμετοχής στις εισαγωγές τους να υπερβαίνουν το 70%.
Συγκεκριμένα, η Ελλάδα είναι ο Νο 1 προμηθευτής 35 αγροτικών
προϊόντων σε 14 χώρες, 2ος προμηθευτής 23 προϊόντων σε 17 χώρες, 3ος
προμηθευτής 20 προϊόντων σε 13 χώρες, 4ος προμηθευτής 17 προϊόντων σε 10 χώρες
και 5ος προμηθευτής 12 προϊόντων επίσης σε 10 χώρες.
Στα νωπά ψάρια η Ελλάδα είναι ο πρώτος προμηθευτής της
Ιταλίας με ποσοστό συμμετοχής 38,5% στο σύνολο των εισαγωγών της χώρας.
Ακολουθούν τα λοιπά διατηρημένα λαχανικά στην Αυστραλία (19,9%), τα βερίκοκα,
κεράσια και ροδάκινα με ποσοστά συμμετοχής στις εισαγωγές 69% στην Πολωνία,
49,7% στην Ιταλία, 39,4% στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και 28,1% στη Γερμανία, τα καπνά
με ποσοστό συμμετοχής στις εισαγωγές της Βουλγαρίας 53,9% και 34,3% στις
εισαγωγές του Βελγίου, τα πορτοκάλια (Ρουμανία 72,9% και Ουγγαρία 51,3%) και
κρασιά (Κύπρος 26,4%). Γενικότερα, οι χώρες-μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ενωσης
αποτελούν τον κύριο προορισμό των ελληνικών αγροτικών προϊόντων. Ωστόσο, το
ποσοστό συμμετοχής των χωρών αυτών στο σύνολο των ελληνικών εξαγωγών αγροτικών
προϊόντων συνεχώς μειώνεται και από 79% το 1988 περιορίστηκε στο 62% το 2010.
Από την άλλη, αυξητική τάση παρατηρείται στις εξαγωγές προς τις χώρες της
Κεντρικής και Ανατολικής Ευρώπης με αποτέλεσμα οι χώρες αυτές να αποτελούν τον
δεύτερο τόπο προορισμού των εξαγωγών με συνολικό ποσοστό συμμετοχής (στοιχεία
του 2010) 20,4% έναντι μόλις 2,3% το 1988. Η Βόρεια Αμερική και οι χώρες της
Βόρειας Αφρικής και Μέσης Ανατολής είναι ο τρίτος και τέταρτος προορισμός των
εξαγωγών των αγροτικών προϊόντων με ποσοστά συμμετοχής 5,1% και 4% αντιστοίχως.
Βασικότεροι ανταγωνιστές της Ελλάδας στις διεθνείς αγορές
στον κλάδο των αγροτικών προϊόντων είναι, σύμφωνα με την έρευνα, η Ισπανία και
η Ιταλία, ενώ μερίδια κερδίζει συνεχώς και η Τουρκία.
