Η νέα αλήθεια, λοιπόν, ειπωμένη πολλές φορές από τα κανάλια είναι ότι το Μνημόνιο έφερε την ύφεση και όχι ότι η ύφεση (μαζί με την κακοδιαχείριση των προηγούμενων χρόνων) έφερε το Μνημόνιο.
